Hello, my friends, Motivational Gifts: Pathway to Your Divine Purpose is the title of my new book. Do you know that you have seven motivational gifts? Well, it is true --- the gifts are a part of your DNA.
The seven gifts are serving, giving, mercy, teaching, exhorting, prophecy, administration/organization -- these gifts are your workplace gifts. (God put his super on your natural) Yes, these gifts make you look very attractive to employers and to those wanting to buy your goods and services. He makes you look brilliant, shining like a superstar utilizing the seven motivational gifts.
Have you noticed the root word in motivation is motive? Your motives are the reason why you act and think the way you do? Now the question is, do you like the things you do and the way you act? I'm not expecting an answer from you; that's a rhetorical question for you to ponder.
Many are not aware of their seven motivational gifts because they do not understand their competency level. There are four levels of competency - (1) unconscious incompetence, (2) conscious incompetence, (3) conscious competence, and (4) unconscious competence.
- Unconscious incompetence –The individual neither understands nor knows how to do something, nor recognizes the deficit, nor has a desire to address it. In short, you don’t know what you don’t know.
- Conscious incompetence –Though the individual does not understand or know how to do something, they recognize the deficit without yet addressing it. This is the stage where you know what you don’t know.
- Conscious competence –The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires a great deal of consciousness or concentration. You know how to do it, but you have to think your way through it.
- Unconscious competence –The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it becomes "second nature" and can be performed easily (often without concentrating too deeply). This is the stage where you can do it without thinking. You know what to do.
It is essential to know your four levels of consciousness to move from the place of unconscious incompetence to the place of unconscious competence. The place of unconscious competency is where you know what you know and the place that leads to the pathway to your divine purpose.
